There are many ways a learned Monk can share knowledge with younger Monks and with members of the community. A Maha Vadin has illustrated the knowledge and skill to do so. (Note: this is a Senior Monk, not a Guide)

Requirements to Begin:
Hold the Rank of Samana Muni,
Live as a Wanderer for at least 4 years ((6 months)),
Have illustrated your understanding of and your commitment
your Monk Vows in the community and the circle.

Maha Vadin Training
Reward/Item:
Circling of the Eightfold and Recognition of your ability to
help others learn basic understanding of our ways

Having gained wisdom and experience, having mastered physical and mental arts, having learned about yourself and the world around you, continuing to practice the the life of a learned monk, and continuing to teach others by your example.

to, your Monk Vows in the community and the circle.
