First, double check records of their student time is up to date and complete.

Review the Vows - either as the end of class or at the circle door - make sure they understand and agree to them.

As they enter, they receive the Inner Peace mark, Right Views and a Straw hat.

Be sure to let them know you Lotus Keeper has many spell ingredients they may not be able to find. These are donations from Monks, so there is no cost, but suggest that later they might replace them or donate other spell ingredients for other new Monks.

Make a "welcome" post on Mantras. (it doesn't have to be long - but at least an introduction)

Update the site: Student Comment that they walked THEN delete as student, "Claim" from guideless walker list, update Member record to show IP and Right Views (see record keeping for details)
