"Wake up honey" my wife said to me.

"Goodmorning dear."

It was a wonderful winter morning and it must have snowed at least 8 inches last night. I sat on the floor by the window and stared out at the beautiful snow for a while. So elegant and white, as it fell from the sky, covering the ground like a blanket. "I've made a nice warm breakfast for you my love." my wife said to me.

"Thank you honey, this is just what I need right now. I have to run in town to the store today to pick up the last of the groceries we will need before they run out from the storm."

"You cant go out in this weather Saleen! Its horrible out there."

"Everything will be fine there is no need to worry, the store is but a little ways away will take me just a little time." I grabbed my jacket and tightened up my boots. "I shall return my love, and thank you for that wonderful breakfast."

"Be safe my love; hurry home."

I walked out the door and ventured my way to the butcher shop. Sticking out my tongue, I caught some snowflakes from the mild snow. The children were out playing in the snow, making snowmen and having snowball fights. "Hey mister," yelled on of the young kids.

I turned around to look and there it was, a snowball looking me right in the face. "You're gonna get it now!" I said laughing.

Grabbing some snow off a pile, I formed it into a perfect ball. The little kid laughed and started to run away as I threw the snowball back at him. I completly missed, but I just enjoyed the laughter from the little ones. I continued on my way to the butcher shop. When I got to the butcher shop Min greeted me. "Hello there Saleen hun, what can I get for you?" she said with a smile.

"Hi Min always nice to see you" as I brushed the snow off my shoulders. "Ill take 5 pounds of horse meat and 10 rabbit meat steaks please."

"Ok hun that will be 60 gold coins please." Min said to me.

"Here ya go hun" as I handed her the gold. "Take care tell your husband hello for me."

I headed out of the butcher shop and heard a strange noise on my walk home. I looked around and saw a women on the path, she had broken her leg and fallen into the snow. I immediatly dropped everything to tend to her. I pulled her out of the snow and laid her on a warmer part of the ground. "Don't move your leg much dear, you have broken it." She was shaking and shivering pretty bad, so I took off my jacket and wrapped it around her to keep her warm. I picked her up over my shoulder and took her and the groceries back to the house. "Honey help me please," I said to my wife.

"Oh my dear what happened?" Supastephie said to me.

"I found her in the snow I think she has broken her leg."

"Let me call the doctor," My wife said to me.

I cooked up some food quickly and fed the poor girl some food. She started to talk to us, "Thank you so much sir for helping me. I was sure I was going to die out there."

"We won't let that happen! Now, we have a doctor on his way to look at your leg. You just relax." I said to her.

The doctor soon arrived and bandaged up her leg for her. "You are sure lucky someone found you out there, young lady. You're going to be just fine." The doctor said to her.

She left the next day after resting and having a good meal. "Thank you again so much sir, you will never know how much this has meant to me," She said to me.

"It was my pleasure dear; good luck and stay in touch," I said to her.

A couple months had past and I was walking through the towns on a beautiful spring morning. The flowers were blooming and the air smelt that wonderful smell of spring. I walked by a couple sitting on a bench talking and laughing. "Good day folks, how are you this fine day?" I inquired.

"We are doing just fine sir, thank you."

I noticed they had some very rare and beautiful flowers in there hands. "Might I inquire where you got those beautiful flowers from?"

"This wonderful women was walking through here with a slight limp and handed us these roses. She really brightened up our day with these. We just recently lost a loved one in our family and her giving us these roses was just a very sweet gesture." The couple said to me.

"That is really sweet indeed." I said to them.

I grabbed some flowers for my wife and headed back home. I was laying down with my wife in bed as we were about to go to sleep and told her about the couple I met today. It was the same girl that had broken her leg. "See how you can affect someone's life by giving a little to them." I said to my wife. "Good deeds go hand in hand."

I kissed her on the forehead as she started to fall asleep. "Goodnight my love."
