A Long time ago, in a small cottage in the far east of the Kingdom of Koguryo lived a family, known is the Kaejangs.  They were a poor family, who lived on meager rations and even smaller dreams.  The father worked as a carpenter, and was quite an accomplished one at that.  He was, however, not a Merchant, and he was unable to support his family well.  The mother worked all day cleaning the dirty house, and fighting to keep the rodents at bay.

This was the world I was born in.  My small black eyes first met the light of the World shortly after the Nagnang Wars in Yuri 44, Fall.  My Onyx black eyes glimmered, as though with hope; a hope that had escaped my parent's hearts for many years.

I was a quick child, and was crawling sooner than my parent's expected.  During the dangerous times, my parents refused to let me outside the grubby little house, so I was forced to stay inside.  The Glimmer in my eyes died.  I soon became still, quiet, and unmoving.

I grew older, and I began to sneak outside of the house.  I could not stand to remain in such a small place, allowing my heart to scream in the agony of confinement.  I wanted to explore, I wanted to learn.  I wanted to understand.  And then a plague hit my household.  As suddenly as I wanted to leave them, they left me.  Parents gone,  and completely alone, I ran scared, stumbling, into the Streets of the City of Kugnae, frightened.  But my eyes had begun to glitter again with shimmering tears.  I would not be defeated so easily.

As I grew, so did my adventures.  I quickly joined the Royal Army and practiced marching with the Soldiers.  I battled through many wars, and learned a great deal from my General, and my friends.  I joined groups and forged alliances.  I began to understand myself, and I felt a calling.

I performed in Theatre Arts, and began to play Musical Instruments. The performers convinced me to join the Muse Guild.  I remained there many years, experiencing many things.  I gained many friends, and had many experiences.  But the glitter began to die once again.  The musical notes had begun to sing a boring tune, the acts had lost their splendor.  I realized that I was, instead of growing, hindering my learning by closing my mind.  I shook my head, and, weeping, I left the Muse Guild forever.

As I ran from the Muse Guild, tears streaming down my face, the Glitter did not return.  My head had reached what it thought was the end, but my heart knew there was more for PoeticTruth to uncover. My body was unwilling to move farther, and it looked like my end was near, my heart screaming from inner-constriction.  My breathing was ragged.  And then I heard a voice from behind me.

"Are you alright?"  A worrying set of eyes looked down across my tear stricken face, having rushed up from a voyage of her own.  She had taken the first step for me.  We began to talk quietly, and I began to relive my life to her.  She nodded, frowning, and took a step, as if to leave, and then turned.

"You know what your heart tells you.  When you are ready, your mind will follow your heart."  With that, she handed me a scroll and walked away, her blond hair flowing in the sun.  Looking down, I noticed a name written in black ink, with a sentence written below it.  It read:

"When you understand that you wish to understand more than the Physical world, when you understand you want to train you Mind and Body, and when you understand you can only learn so much from another, then you will contact me."

Sorriso was like a second mother to me.  From that day onward, I have never been the same.  And I doubt I shall ever be.

As my eyes have begun to glitter once more.
