Hello, my name is Maya. I was born in the winter of 49. I never knew who my parents were. I was raised by Iron Heart, he helped me learn my way around the new lands and encouraged me to pick a path that felt right for me. As I was learning these many things I met a young mage, and when Iron Heart said he had taught me all he could, this young mage took me in and helped me learn much more. He bacame like an older brother to me, always watching out for me. I made many other friends but he always stood by me. Then one day he was gone. That was a very sad day for me. But I knew he would want me to go on with my life so I did.

A few yuri's later I met a nice young warrior named Yamiji. We started training together and the more we did the more we liked each other. It wasn't long before he asked me to marry him. We were married in yuri 56. It was a wonderful time for me. I was reaching my 99th insight and this is when Yamiji said I must now choose a poet path to follow. So I went to the poet guild and I read about all of my choices. As I was reading I came to the monk path, and I knew right away this was the path for me. So I told Yamiji that I wanted to follow the monk path, because I felt it was the way of life I wanted to lead. He told me about the wandering monk scroll. So I went and bought a scroll and read more about the path. It was then that I sent a letter to Guide Valnor seeking for her to guide me. She was quite busy so she put me under her assistaint Sabbeth. I Studied and did all that she asked of me, and 2 months later I came home to the monk circle. Since then it has been everything I had hoped for. Many things have happened since I first walked into the circle, but most of all, I have a big family to always support me. I hope that I can always be there as support for them.
