~~* Back in the day during times of war between 2 neighboring villages in the outskirts of Nagnang. I was only a young poet just learning how to control my healing powers. I lived with my family and 1 brother in a small hut that barely supported us. We were not the most noble or even well known, we were in one of the lowest classes within our village.
My father and brother cut the wheat down with their mighty scyths while my mother and I picked up what was left on the ground. Every night my mother and father helped me understand more of the powers I was blessed with.
One night however, we were inside our hut eating what little food we had when some men armed with spears riding on their horses came to the little hut we had. With anger on their face they simply had asked to see my father. My mother and I watched as he talked to the men, but we couldnt make out what they were saying to eachother. During the conversation my father simply just lowered his head as if something bad had happened. The men bowed and simply rode off as my father came inside without an expression on his face. He told me and my brother nothing but that he had to go settle some matters and that he will be back as soon as possible. I knew of the war that was going on, but I was too little to understand that my father was enlisted in the army since before I was born.
When we set to bed that night I listened to my father and mother talking about what was going on, he had told her that the man at the door was the general and he told him to gear up and to come to the barracks. He suited up for battle, gave my mother a kiss, and left the hut to ride our horse to the barracks.
Yuri's had passed and there was still no word of my father. Our family struggled keeping food on our table while he was gone, but we kept at it. Another Yuri had passed when the war finally had ended and our village had became victorious. Couple days later a man on horseback came to our hut with a letter in his hand and a frown on his face. He had told us that our father passed away during the last battle that ended the war, but that he had fought valiantly and will be missed by all. For days and days I cried just hoping that my father was still alive and he would return. Every night we set out food where my dad sat expecting him to return that night.
One morning while working in the field I saw a strange man on horseback ride toward me and stopped suddenly and smiled at me while saying "Hello". We sat there and he had told me of his past and I finally asked him how he could be smiling after so much had happened. He told me he was a monk and that in his teachings he learned that whatever happens you must set forth because you cannot change the past.
For no more then a Yuri he had told me about the Monk and their quest for inner peace, he had told me how everything in the world is beautiful and there is no such thing as something being ugly. He plucked a flower from his bag telling me how it was a Lotus Blossom and how to the Monks it shows how we can all turn out just fine even when the outside world is not perfect.
After some time he had told me that he could teach me no further and if I wish to return home with the Monks then I must contact one of the guides to show me  the way home. He left me that day and I told myself I will put all my effort and time into finding my way home and admiring my surrounding for their beauty and begin my adventure out into the world to share my ways.*~~~
