Years ago in a time now faded into history, the kingdoms were in utter chaos, suffering the sieges of various wars between differing kingdoms, subpaths, and even monsters. During this period lived a Shaman of demonic ancestry, a man named Sniddstrat. This demon was a creature completely obsessed with magic, one who would stop at nothing to perpetuate his own mana. Soullessly slaying thousands, from weak innocent peasants to the powerful evils of the Zibong King, Sniddstrat had no alignment, no affiliations or goals beyond serving his own means. Incompetent and overburdaned, the royals of the time failed to address Sniddstrat as any significant threat and sent petty forces to deal with his termination. Unfortunately, they did so without success...

Eventually, long after the Zibong had retreated the Kingdoms cooled down from their various internal and external conflicts. Now, without preoccupation from any other immediate issues, Kug-Yun Yuri began to see the actuality behind the mayhem Sniddstrat had caused throughout his reign. Hundreds of his soldiers had been killed... beyond killed, obliterated without a trace, by his dark and demonic magics. Among the few that had survived to report back, the consensus was the same, this was in no way an ordinary Shaman. Kug-Yun had dealt with demons before and he knew where to turn...

Chongunate assembled and approached their target in a flawless flank. Moving with silence and speed, they began their assault on the demon. With the element of surprise in conjunction with their enchanted Honor Shields, the Chongunate managed to apprehend and subdue the demon quite quickly. However, their unwillingness to deviate from convention would be their downfall. Their orders were to bring him alive, and so, they attempted to do so. As they began to cuff the demon, it made a swift melee recoil, killing the five paladin warden within a second. Infuriated by the death of his comrades, the elder Kin'yo disregarded Kug-Yuns orders, and told his men to slay the demon at once.

Sniddstrat seemed utterly impervious to their attacks, shrugging off seemingly fatal blows as if they were scratches. Despite their shield rendered immunity to most of his magics, the Chongunate were falling fast... Kin'yo felt an almost divine calling to the weapon in his sheath. No... it hadn't been used in ages, he wouldn't even know how to handle it...? Nonetheless he pulled out the Spirit Shard and make a quick swipe across the demons shoulder. Sniddstrat screamed in pain.

Intoxicated by the successful slash, Kin'yo furiously combatted him with a barrage of swings. In the final blow, cutting the very silver thread that held the demon in our realm, he watched as its corpse fell to the floor.

Sniddstrat smirked in his dying breath, what the hell did they think I've been doing all these years if I can't escape a simple death? While falling into the spirit realm, he grabbed hold of the most brightly glowing silver thread he'd ever seen. This will do...

A star is born today... the infant Sniddster felt an intense surge of energy in him as the demon possessed him. The immense power created an explosion, decimating everything within a stones throw of the infant... including his own family.

Living in solitude and fending for himself, Sniddster from a very young age could already feel the demons curiousity and obsession for magic seeping into his own soul. His name, Sniddster, was selfdetermined based on a cry he would use to cast a basic bolt spell, a spell that kept him alive in his younger years. What would become of the legacy of this possessed magician? Would the winds whisper the legends of his deeds forever? Only time would tell...
