Paektu, this word is so much more than a place or a name, but it encompasses; Where I have been, Who I am, and Where I am going. It is Me, Vernon Paektu. The only true descendant of this Ancient line. My Father had caught the Fever after concieving me with my Mother, and my Mother had passed during giving birth to me. My personal History with my Family is filled with only good times. After being raised by My aunt, a mystical healer of sorts. I developed into a strong young gentleman. After traveling South to the land of Kugnae, where I found a group of ambitious entertaining people known as SunMoon Sect. With in these hallowed halls i found friendship, especially one lovely young lady known as Maya. Through friendship and good times a relationship blossomed. Friends at first. And throught the the fires of war our love was forged. My Maya took my hand in Marriage just five Yuris together. and already our family grows, Not only in numbers but in wholesome values and love. I sit atop this Family along side my beloved 'My Maya'. Through our time together I have taught much to my children and grand children, and they have taught me much also. From teaching the ways of this land to my son Vansith, and from Maya teaching me to let go of my grumpiness and just relax and enjoy the good times. We grow closer everyday. My fondest Memory of my Family would be after coming back from a small vacation, to the home land to see the family i left behind. Upon returning my Lovely and Elegant wife told me about a boy who she took under her wing. A Warrior who holds honor above all else. His name is Vansith. I seen much potential in the lad, he has something that i havent seen in many people of this community. A true kindness, a caring heart. He proves this every day, just by saying a few kind words to a stranger, or putting his life on the line to protect what he holds dear. And when he told us he planned to marry a fine young lady. Her name was SandPaper. She is as kind hearted as him. This was just the icing on top of the cake to my fondest memory. As Patriarch to this family i feel it is my duty. to mold and shape the path that the family takes, and i plan to do the best that i can. Whether that should entail me just talkin and seeing how they are all doing or, Keepin them safe from the many hardships that life can bring. I will be there. for ever and always. |
