  Rochana
During my test of solitude; a task that the Monk Elder of my hometown of Kaya had sent me on, I would wander the land in deep thought and concentration. I could not speak to anyone, not that I had anyone to speak to, in the first place. My family was at this point, non-existent. I had joined the monastery at a young age, after my parents had died to the swords of a group of unknown soldiers about ten years back. I had no siblings, either, because my mother could only care for me, while still alive.. or so I heard from the townsfolk.

Wandering the land of Kaya was not the biggest task someone could've given me. I covered it in about three weeks, eating berries and drinking stream water the entire time. Though, one night, it was raining quite hard and the mist that accumulated around the forest had led me to a strange crossroads. I was suddenly transported to a small cabin which had a stable, in a town called Kugnae. How this trip was brought on or why, I did not know. I may have stepped past the boundaries of Kaya and this spell laid down by a magician, must have led me here.

As I walked the lands, done with my task.. I decided to speak to some people. Some of the first ended up being fellow Monks, though of a different kingdom. I asked them if I may stay with them in their Circle, until I could gain knowledge on how to return back home. LadySatin led me home, after many months of training; for this was no simple Monk path, as it had been in Kaya. They were more advanced in their teachings, their magic and their mindset. I soon learned how to find my way back home, and as I waved goodbye to my fellow Monks, my noble steed took me wherever I pleased.

Upon arriving back home, I found no trace of my town, nor any people that I had come to know over the years. Everything was gone, and if someone who had not known it to be there before came upon it, they would think that I was just a lying peasant. It was there, I was sure.. but where has it gone? I had no choice but to travel back to Kugnae.

On my journey back to Kugnae, I realized.. this is where I wanted to be, not in Kaya, in my now non-existent town? but home with my kin. Within the walls of the city, I could not find my old Guide, LadySatin but found someone just as dear and noble - Monk Maya. She took me in as her apprentice, yet again and led me back home. This was already more of a family than I had ever remembered having!

When Maya gave me the idea of joining SunMoon clan, I thought it was brilliant. Another way to expand those who I care for and hold dear! One afternoon, I met a young couple in the SunMoon hall.. their names were SandPaper and Vansith Paektu. They decided, with no hesitation, to add me to their family! Naming me their daughter, although our blood ran different ancestry. I will never forget this, and will always stay true to the Paektu family, from this day on.

It is true that I have yet to find out what happened in Kaya, with the mysterious disappearance of my town. Yet, I still wonder if I should bother going back, because I, Rochana Paektu, have found a home that suits me right here in Kugnae! And I will always be greatful to my family for letting me realize that.
