Born in the Summer of Yuri 58, in the grand city of Buya, I have come to be known as Rom Myoshi. I never knew my mother, nor my father, but I only remember bits and pieces of my previous life.
I don't know what happend to my parents, but all I knew is that I was alone and had nobody to discipline me into maturity. At about 8 years old, I was working as a messenger usually going from Buya to Kugnae before it happend.
I cannot fully explain how it happened, but what followed afterwards was a path of sheer survival. Abandoned, and left to fend to myself as a young boy I faced imminent death. I was being chased by a pack of wolves, perhaps they smelled my wound a few miles back when I tripped on a branch. A gigantic bear came out of the clearing and I knew it was the end for me. My young life was about to come to an end when something miraculous happened. I believe it was her maternal instincts that kicked in which led to my survival. The bear pounded and tore everything in its path with it's grissly claws and teeth. I felt a sudden respect and love for this animal. No one has ever cared to lift a finger for me, not anyone human anyway.
She had no cubs, which is why I believe she took me in as her own. She still wanted to love and nurture a cub as her own. My diet consisted of meat from small game animals. However, there is something unique to such a restricted menu as it may seem. With only the intake of meat, I noticed that my animalistic senses were heightened. My sense of smell managed to go beyond that of a normal person. I learned that my nose was a very vital part of my survival. Scents in the air manage to go far beyond eye sight. And with the ability to sniff out predators I managed to evade most dangers, and being discovered from civilization.
Although I could not steer far from civilization itself, it was too great and vast. I eventually met a nice girl name Xania while she walked from one kingdom to another. She had the greatest qualities, very loving and good natured, and a great sense of humor. Although she didn't know much about my previous not my current life, I decided to take the biggest risk of my life, and ask her for her hand in marriage. She accepted, but I was still nervous about what I would do in civilization again, I had no place to live, nowhere to go, nothing to offer... She listened to my story very carefully, and she accepted me for who I am, and did not care for who I was. She accepted me into her home, into the family of Myoshi. There I might the head of the family Azasimus, a very wise old man, he along with everyone else helped guide me to become civil once again.
