Yuri 55, moon 2, day 5; 11:00pm. A night that will never be forgotten. My father had just finished tending to a warm fire in our small wooden shack, while mother prepared our beds. My sister and I were only 5 at the time, rambunctious and energy filled with high hopes for someday slaying dragons and monsters within the depths of those vile caves in the Mythic nexus.
Just as we were crawling into bed, a deep rumble and the sounds of many hooves could be heard approaching in the distance. We all stepped over to the window to see what the commotion was about, and saw something that will live in our minds forever. Many horeseman, it must have been at least 200, were hordeing through our village burning houses, trampling citizens, and destroying everything my town had worked so hard to create.
Screams and cries of pain could be heard from every direction. My father picked me up, while my mother grabbed my sister. My father knew we had a better chance of survival if he went out the front door, allowing my mother to take my sister out the back unnoticed. He ran through the front door and into a battleground with sights I pray I'll never relive. He carried me through the city streets and into the woods surroudning the village, where he sat me next to a tree to wait while he went back to find mother and sister. I waited at that tree for nearly 2 days, and as the cries faded in the distance I began to lose hope of my family's return. Though I continued to wait...keeping that small bit of life that was still within me to pray for their arrival...

That was quite some time ago. I have since then found my way to Buya and made a life for myself, living with the pain of my family's almost certain demise. Almost certain until recently, that is. A woman by the named of Neira had crossed paths with me. She was a normal woman with high stature, however one thing cought my eye. Her looks resemblance to my own were quite close, amazing in fact. I got to talking with Neira, and she relived a story in his life just as tragic as my own had been, though somewhat different near the end. We got to know eachother and have grown very close, even developed a sense of brother/sister companionship you could say. Whether Neira was telling the same story I had lived, I'll never know. Though the bond we share and the care we have for one another could never be broken or corrupted by anything in this kingdom. We have truely developed a family sort of love. Either of us having Parents gave us the wonderful idea. We seeked to have our bonds forged in ink, to be guided by the winds and live our lives in your family, Myoshi.
