When I met Ninked, I never figured that I'd marry him one day. At the time, not only was he engaged, but he was very popular, while I was just a no-named orphan, newly arrived in the Kingdom.
Fate, dreams, and a strange turtle had guided me to Kugane to join the Oceana clan. I met Ninked soley by chance - I needed to know someone in the Clan who could vouch for my acceptance, so I gathered a list of names and set out to befriend someone. The first person I could find on my list of names was Ninked, and we soon became good friends. I had fallen in love with him almost as soon as I had met him, but I hid my feelings because he was promised to another.
I was eventually accepted into the clan, and for the first time felt as though I had a family. I became particularly close to certain members, Thrice and Mesocute in particular. As the Yuris pasted, Ninked mutually broke off his engagement to his fiancee, and we both realized that the love we felt for eachother was not one-sided. Soon we were married, and in the next few days, through research, vague memories, and dreams, I found out that Kougaiji is my father and Thrice is my uncle.
Theses people, my family - whether blood-tied or not - are what make life worth living. We bear our troubles, our joys, our good times and bad, together, and embrace that we can. In unity we can overcome any obsticle, and in unity, we can be truely happy.
