Full name: Cristiana Kousei-Rein
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown tied with gold lace
Birthplace: Village of Kigai
Birth season: Fall

Born as the eldest sister, Cristiana began her life caring for her two twin sisters StarLyte and Nia of the Shade. Cristiana and her sisters were known in their village as the apple triplets, as they made it their duty to tend to the apple trees every season. Handing out apples was hardly a form a labor to them, for the grins and smiles they received in exchange motivated them.

In Cristiana's youth, she was intrigued by the Divine Arts, namely the art of water scrying, of which she mastered near the shores of Kigai; however, her foresight was limited, as a parallel life seemed to derive her from her studies. Night after night Cristiana delved into research on to what this foreboding split between her thoughts was. Her sisters worried for her sanity and believe she was possessed, but because of their training as Shadows by their guide Illusion, they were able to seek answers from the depths of Cristiana's shadow, the very entity that was bestowed upon her from birth.

On one dreary night, embedded with shadows upon the hills, the twins began writing scriptures that became later known as Mysteries of the Shade. The tuning of the wind became discordant, and polyphony of chanting voices began to topple as the blood-moon rose. Waking from a vision of the pale-blooded moon, Cristiana realized where her sisters were and headed to their location. "Kia," her youngest twin sister StarLyte began, "the Umbra shows that your path has sunken into dark waters." Kia was a nick-name her sister, StarLyte, gave to Cristiana when the sisters were younger. "Kia," the eldest twin began, "the dark waters show that the umbra lies deep."

The moon faded. The wind died. A lonely note began to surface, falling upon deaf ears.

No recollection of what occurred afterwards is noted. However, in the present, Cristiana continues to hand out apples to those who cross her path. Devoted to training the three primacies -- the mind, body, and soul -- she is often found practicing the over-looked martial arts of the combatant monks of her village. As a Monk, she is focused on breaking the stereotypical image of a Monk. Though it is her belief that monks should always be willing to assist anyone on their path, she does not think that this belief alone is what solely defines a monk.

Her life lives upon a score of music of which she dedicates to her late sister, StarLyte. This piece of music became her most prized possession and is the reminder of memories long past. The music is folded up as if it were a fan, with the title "In memory of Sister StarLyte."

By dark waters, her path has sunk. She has learned her sisters' words and no longer depends on a road to lead her. "Instead of following another's set of footsteps, carve your own footsteps in the sands of time," Cristiana preaches, "for you have the ability to write your own destiny in your book of life. But it is Fate that decides when to turn the pages."
