  Nyurota
Nyurota Kiyomasa was born on a small island off the east coast of Korea, its name was Usanguk. Nyurota was a pureblood of the Kiyomasa family. The island was home to the bulk of the family, apart from the small amount of relations that had migrated during trade expeditions to different kingdoms including Kugnae & Buya.

Nyu, as she was known to her family was the eldest daughter of a 5 person family, her mother was Utai Kiyomasa and her father was Keel Kiyomasa. Her mother was a respected tailor in the community; she was responsible for the creation of the robes worn by the individuals high up in the hierarchy due to her finesse with a pair of scissors and cloth. Keel Kiyomasa was the leader of the islands small, yet elite fleet of military vessels. Nyu was always her father's favorite out of the 3 siblings. Keel taught Nyu extensively in the art of battle, she learnt from a young age that you must defend what you have to the death, and that family was always the first thing in their life.

At the age of 14, Nyu was a well respected junior warrior on the island. It was tradition that families would have tournaments showing off their skills with a blade. Nyu was often entered by her father against other young children from the island. She would often be opposition elder male teens, and although her strength was inferior to them, she had the mind of a fighter and knew what to do in any situation that she was put in.

Although she was a vicious competitor in battle, Nyu was an extremely young and humble individual. On many a setting sun, Nyu would sit on the golden sands of the shore of Usanguk and listen to the tales of her uncle Yui-Ti. Her uncle would tell her tales of foreign kingdoms, and different cultures. He would often bring scrolls home with him and share them with Nyu. The tale of The Shattering was one of Nyu's favorite stories; Nyu soon was very familiar with the cultures of different places.

Nyu's life changed forever on the dawn of her 15th birthday, it was the day that she would leave the island of Usanguk in search of a very important person. Nyu awoke to her father and mother presenting her with gifts. Keel passed her a small, sharp looking dagger. Its handle was twined together with red leather and the blade was polished. Along the blade the word family was inscribed. Her mother passed her a beautiful drapery; it fit her perfect and would be sure to keep her warm on the coldest of nights.

For the next 3 hours the situation at hand was described to Nyu. She would be sent on a journey that would move her from child to adult, it was a test to see if she was ready to fight alongside her father in battle. It was also going to be an extremely important learning experience for Nyu, she would meet new people and encounter many different walks of life while on the journey.

Her journey sounded simple "Find Myrtle Kiyomasa". Myrtle had left in pursuit of knowledge and adventure in other lands. Nyu's journey led her to the kingdom of Buya, this is where she found Myrtle after months of searching. Nyu was relieved that she had found her cousin, although there was a problem. Myrtle was staying in the kingdom, she had found a home and family within the walls of this new land and did not want to return to the island. After many nights of trying to convince Myrtle to return to Usanguk Nyu finally gave in to her cousins wishes.

Nyu stayed with Myrtle in Buya for a few moons, she then returned to the island. Upon returning her family was happy that she had found Myrtle, although they were stressed that she may fall into turmoil. A decision was made, as Nyu was adept in the art of battle her family tasked her with staying with her cousin and protecting her from any harm. The next morn Nyu gave her goodbyes and left again for Buya, searching for her cousin yet again. When she reached Buya Myrtle was feeding at an inn, she invited Nyu for soup and they conversed over supper. It was decided that Myrtle was going to live in the Kingdom of Buya, with a group called Elendhirin, an extremely spiritual group of people. Nyu chose to enlist in the Kugnae Army, she wanted to continue with her practice and found that Kugnae suited her better than Buya. And that brings us today, Myrtle a Geomancer from Buya and Nyu a Chongun from Kugnae - family forever.
