In the past, the Kiyomasa bloodline has always been known as a humble family. The members of the family have always spiritually been attached to their home island of Usanguk along the Eastern coast of Korea. Of course, the bloodline stretches deep into the roots of the island, but only few of the family members have left the Island in pursuit for adventure and to learn the culture of new lands.

Stories of the Kiyomasa family have been etched into the history of Usanguk through great victories in naval warfare. Members of the family are considered royalty in many tales of the Island. The Kiyomasa have not only been known for their military achievements, they were also well respected producers of island food delicacies which were bartered in markets, in kingdoms as far away as Buya, and Koguryo.

Members of the family have been honoured by the island for their great dedication to the arts and preservation of the Island's history. The family was the first to document the tales of Usanguk on scrolls brought home from one of their many bartering trips to Koguryo. Children from a young age have always been taught that family is always to come first before your kingdom; This was always a heated topic amongst the council of the island when war washed up on it's shores. Although, children of the Kiyomasa were always trained in the art of battle, it was an important trait of family elders to teach the children practical tasks and that all battles did not have to be fought by metal to metal. Rather, they were taught to use diplomatic dexterity when encountering people of different walks in life.

The Kiyomasa family name originated from the first settlers of Usanguk, and grew over the years as a highly respected family of the community; They began recognizing the elders of the family as "War Lords", although the humble members never truly accepted the title as their own.

The Kiyomasa bloodline only has a handful of descendents in the Koguryo and Buyan Kingdoms. These descendents are members of the family that sought after a cultural change, and had only left with the blessings of their other family members.
Although their time in this new kingdom has only been short lived thus far, they are already following in their ancestors, and are all walking truly their own unique paths. The family members that now inhabit Buya and Kugnae have little to no contact with their bloodline across the sea, although these members wear their family's name with pride and are all loyal to their family to this day.
