  Ikari Family
We all come from somewhere - some of us are fortunate to know others are not. During these times in history it is always good to recall things. The archives that are to be revealed this day are ancient, and are just that, history. For generations these stories have been kept secret and passed down from family member to family member. Today, all the history of the Ikaris will be condensed into a short version.     The name Ikari originates from the lands known as Ilbon and the family has lived quietly in such places as Edo; the actually name means: Stronghearted.

The ancient parchments do not tell us when it was first founded in Ilbon, and there are several stories of how or when it was founded. It is a mystery to even this generation but we know of the legacy and what we all had to live up to. Ikaris were Imperial Servants to the Japanese Emperor, we were of noble blood however we were not born Nobel no, instead the legends say that one member known as, Xiango worked and worked to better himself and proved himself countless times on the battlefields and at one time, saved the life of the Emperor . He was welcomed into the royal family and took up a position as a general. Xiango and his wife, Shinera were given a large area to call their own. This is where the beginnings of our story are.

Xiango had begun to do training with retainers in his downtimes, he quickly became famous in Edo and many respected and looked to him for guidance, he and Shinera had four children, Two boys and Two Girls; the sons LiuBei Xiango Ikari, LuBu Shinji Ikari. The daughters Imari Asaka Ikari and Esiabella  Misa Ikari. Xiango stopped accepted retainers and focused is energies on his children he taught  them all to have the heart of a warrior and a strong, tranquil mind. He taught his sons to be fierce Samurai warriors and they were encouraged to join the Imperial Guard. The daughters learned from their mother Shinera and as they grew older they married and had children of their own. They have left these archives, though they are strong. Xiango and Shinera later passed away after their daughters had married and their sons in the service of the Emperor; they died by natural causes.

The two brothers worked close together, they had fought over women more than once, they'd drink themselves stupid, and they'd train to their peek human abilities. During the battle of Gunrya Asimoka, the oldest was slain in honour. All that was left was LuBu Ikari. He had taken the death of his brother, LeiBei harder than he had expected but he never allowed it to cloud his mind. Later he took claim to his father's lands and married to a noble woman named, Meso Pei. They had given birth to three children, but sadly only one survived the birth. He was named after his father's middle name; this was the birth of Shinji Ikari. LuBu worked with his son day and night he was determined not to have a weakling for a son. He was instructed on the ways of the Samurai, the blade, the meditation, the poetry, to Ilbon traditions. He became a soldier in the Imperial Army but quickly chose to be a master of a local martial arts school.

Shinji had met one peasant girl who was distressed, her name was Rei. She was an orphan and Shinji was determined to take care of her though she was only 4 years younger than he. When he met her, Shinji was 32. Soon they married and Rei gave birth to two sons, Vildor Ikari and his brother Rikumaru Ikari.

The family was a respectful family who always strived to better their character and those around them. It was a matter of self preservation and to always reach peek physical form while becoming fierce... deadly... but always calm in the face of danger; showing respect to each other. The family Ikari (Strong hearted) lived up to their name, strong will and fierce warriors, not to mention? always loyal.

So summarizes, one legacy almost lost in the sands of time.
