After the loss of my older brother, my little brother and I had no one to turn to. The caste system of our society forsaught us. Having been plagued with visions of a world long passed my entire life, I was quickly losing touch with the reality I was currently living. My brother and I had little choice. We left our own time, and escaped far into the past with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Shortly after we arrived, we were saved by a girl named Jasna. She was very wise beyond her years and incredibly kind. She showed us kindness that no stranger had ever shown us in our own time. She helped us to quickly pick up the local dialect, and showed us a place we could call home, and she quickly became my closest friend. I became insurmountably happy for the first time in my life.

Not long after arriving, I learned that it was not completely unheard of here for people to have visions of times other than their own. These people were called Diviners, and together, they studied their visions and learned to use them to help people. After I settled into my new life, Jasna introduced me to her brother, Nobu, a guide of the Diviners. When I first met him, he stared at me with a piercing glare. I was so terrified that he was looking right through me. But I was fortunate. He took a shine to me and agreed to teach me. But as the hyuls passed, I looked forward to our lessons more and more despite his strict teaching methods. And soon, I realized that I was looking forward not to the lessons, but to seeing him again. Then one fateful day, he presented me with a ring, and we were soon wed.

As time passed, I found that revealing that I was born many years in the future was not as cataclysmic to the timeline as I was once led to believe. The teachings of the Tao that Nobu taught me explained this to me clearly. More and more, I felt that I belonged in this time, a time that my visions lined up with... A time with my family.
