My family, the Daeksun's....

Began many years ago in the lands to the far north. My Grandfather was the head of the family. We were a small tribe of people, just trying to survive in that frozen valley. We would collect precious gems and stones that were common around us, but rare to the cities and its peoples.

My grandfather was a man of pride, we would never take charity, even if the land was starving us. We worked for all that we had, and would die before asking for help. With our pride came truthfulness and wisdom, through his experiences as a traveler, trader, and scavenger he developed these characteristics.

As my grandfather became older he could not work as much and the head of the house was given to my Father, Hyistik Daeksun. He had learned much from his father, and so lived up to the Daeksun name. Hyistik was always honest and befriended many nobles of the kingdoms. In time, he even began to taking up the responsibilities of governmental trade with other outlying tribes of the the mighty kingdom of Buya.

Hyistik's riegn was brief though. While hunting for precious gems and stones around the artics, he and his group were murdered in a cave close to the dwelling places of the ogres. Since that time the name of the Daeksun's hasnt been heard of in quite some time. I was at the age of 3 when he had died.

Being the only son, I was completely unfit to rule due to my age. My sister and I moved to the town of Buya to hopefully find a way of living.
In time she became fond of the land and settled there. I moved to the lands of Koguryo at the age of 10. Joining the Royal Army, I learned the respect and dignity of a soldier. As well as the morals of being a good soldier and protector of the city. I slowly gained rank, soldiers as well as officers began to trust me. Working my way up to Lieutenant.

Then I felt a calling to the land of Nagnang, the Prince needed to shape up a fast army to aid and protect his people. With my experience, I new that somehow I could help him.

Upon leaving this great kingdom I journeyed to Nagnang...

Nagnang's borders were well guarded, and we made sure that it stayed like that. The entire country was militaristic and most of the citizens were either scared, or ready to fight. I kept my ideals and ethics and began as a grunt in the army. I met a wonderful woman on my patrols named Cayenne. He beauty was beyond compare.

In time we both got to know one another and tied the knot. Our love and beliefs both mutual, we set out to work hard and earn the respect of the kingdoms. I found a home in the Diviner circle and she found a love for nature, and became a Ranger. Through wars and grief I kepted my pride. My loyalty to the Prince and people was surely obvious to all, and I began to steadily gain rank.

Yuri's passed and I found myself the leader of the Fighting Forces of the Nagnang Army. I began to think of my heritage, and the name me and my sister had once left behind. I wanted to rekindle the fire of the Daeksun name. I was finally of age to rule the family name.

As head of the Daeksun's, I am the one who must know anything and everything about the lands. I take care of my family, and build strong ties with the leaders and citizens of the land. With the beliefs of justice and loyalty, I will rebuild my fallen name and teach my ways to the younger ones who will be Daeksun future.

Earl Daeksun
