My name is Carlein Courcelle, sister of Arionchui. I lived in the far away kingdom of Kaya with my mother, father, and sister. Our family was loving, supportive and nearly perfect until tragedy and misfortune struck us. All of our belongings were taken from us, and both of my parents were killed once our hut was set afire by invading forces. My sister and I were then separated. I was sent to live with my grandfather, but he was a drunken fool who paid little attention to me and treated me like dirt. I did not particularly care for him, so once he passed away I gathered a good amount of gold and traveled to Buya. Upon arriving in Buya I knew no one and had no where to go. Work was hard to find for such a young woman like myself, so I dedicated my time and efforts to the arts. I soon joined the Muse Guild of Buya and bettered the community with fine entertainment and wine. Amazingly enough, Buya was where my sister and I were reunited. As we were both on our way to the marketplace we happened to stumble upon eachother. Conversation was made and old memories were shared. Over time my relationship with Arionchui was rebuilt and we have stayed close ever since. Over the years I grew lonely, yet always found myself stuck in odd relationships, unable to find decent companionship. Marriage after marriage passed, but they all turned out unsuccessful. I spent a good amount of time heartbroken and drinking at the inns. Right when I thought I would never find true love I met a tall, sturdy man with a bad temper and a crooked smile. He was from Nagnang, and called himself Kaouwaski. We quickly fell in love and married. Unfortunately, he was called away to distant lands for business, leaving me behind. Rumors spread that he was murdered, but I refuse to believe them. I have faith he will return to me ... someday. Surprisingly enough, Arionchui had married a young and rich man named Warik. After their marriage Arionchui had broke away from the Myoshi family, they had taken the name of Courcelle. With open arms they both welcomed and excepted me into their family, leaving me with the name Carlein Courcelle. To this day I am still a proud member of the Muse Guild of Buya, although I now reside in Nagnang. Now my family and I stand together, sharing our strong values of love, honor, courage, and perseverance. We are the Courcelle family, born of love, and we will stick together and not let anyone tear us apart. Carlein Courcelle`
