Once way back before the war took us from our home we were two families, the Canotra and the Nukoric. We lived in the village of Hausson.Our families were close so close that you could say we were already one family we would work as one gathering our supplies for the winter, working our crops together tending them and when the time was right gathering our harvest.We even played together as one family. I am IceMagick of the Cantora Family. As I write this scroll I look back with fond memories of those days. It is hard to believe that it was so long ago or maybe it just feels that way before the war came and changed all that we knew I think of them as the days of youth and innocence.When there was nothing more fearful then a storm rolling over our village and having to stay inside for the day and even then we would all gather in Grandmother Nukoric's Home and listen to stories of her Youth. It has all changed now She is gone but her stories live on and we still share them on stormy nights of how she meet Grandfather Nukoric of her sister who died way to young and even of her parents and how they worked so hard to provid for her and her siblings our history is so intertwined that it is one and the same. We become one Family when we were forced to leave all that was home to us.We gathered together those we could find some Canotra and some Nukoric there was so few of us left but some how we managed to find our way here to our new home and yes it is home for where ever we are as long as we have each other we are home. The decision was made to join the famliies into one with the combonations of both our family names to honor those we had lost and to carry them with us forever in memory and name. We carved our new family name into the tree at North gate Koguryo and placed a list of those we had lost upon its bark in hopes that if they too found there way here they would know where to find us.That is how and the why two families became one.
