Long ago, before the days I lived inside the Dojong with the fellow Do, I lived in a small village outside of Han. I was to be trained as a knight and be put into Han's army together with thirty other members of our village. There were no rights to our own village so we all refused in fighting along side of Han.
A few nights later with the king of Han outraged with this he ordered a troop to go after all the men who refused joining the army and kill them, as well as destroy the town.
It was very late into the night as the troop of fifty men charged into our village. I quickly made an escape out of the village only having time to get a simple garb to wear. When left, I noticed my weapon was left at the village along with all my other supplies, but peaceful at my mind as I was at the time, I didn't even think of it. I had no choice but to leave them there because there was no hope surviving the invasion. While I moved on I could only think of the nightmarish thoughts that I saw, with all the men charging in trampling everyone unguarded, burning everything in sight, and last but not least using their weapons of a axe and simply slashing the villagers.
I ventured always on and on and reached the city of Buya. Since I was very tired I went to the nearest tavern I could find. I did not get much of a rest knowing everyone I knew had died, but eventually I got so tired I had to sleep.
When I awoke, I found a kind young woman by my bedside. She told me I was talking in my sleep and that attracted her attention. She as well had some very bad news for me. There was a bounty on my head because a few members in the troop saw my escape, but were too far away to chase me. She offered me her help and when I asked her why, she just smiled and said: "Why not?" Enchanted by her divine beauty, I followed her as mesmerized, and she took me to the home of her family, leaded by her twin sister, Lady SoliTa. I felt truly welcomed and surprised by peace and harmony which was fulfilling the walls of the home of Al-Rassans, the family of Lions as I learned their name was. Tree lovely sisters of Al-Rassans and their noble husbands lived there and you literally could feel love and understanding as well as strong bond which tied them all, as it would be possible to breathe it in they expressed me their warm welcome as long as I wish to stay. and I wanted to stay forever. With time, I managed to capture the heart of beautiful maiden I originally met at Inn, lovely MaldiTa, who agreed to give me her hand in marriage and made me happiest man in the world. With her help and help of the family, I found my place and way to the Dojong, where I serve now as one of Hwarangs. Today, I am proud to be a part of this wonderful people, their true kindred in mind, heart and soul, one of Al-Rassans indeed.
Therefore, my cordial wish as well as wish of my wife and our family (yes, our family I am glad to say) would be to wear the name of Al-Rassan in my legend, showing my belonging together with all rest of us, proud Lions of Al-Rassan.
