*The letter lands in your lap, parchment blown in highwinds, it is ripped and torn and smudged, but still readable*

I stood where he left me, the heavy silver signet weighing down my
left hand. I sighed and stood, brushing the dirt off my dark gown, glancing
around.

"Phalance..." I whispered into the wind, cursing his name. He had left
me standing here, knowing I did not know my way out. I ran my hand over the
signet again, pleasure lacing through me. I had made it, it had all been
worth the pain. Again I looked around, deciding I would never get out by
standing there looking like a lost puppy. I made my way north, breathing
deeply of the earthy air. Finally, after a few hours of walking, lost, I
managed to come to the dark wood. I recognized the smell and knew that on
the other side of the omunious trees I was home. I stared at them, eye
twitching with slight annoyance. The sun was bright, the birds around me
were chirping, but none of that spring cheer seemed to pierce the darkness
of the wood. I could walk around...but that would waste valuable time.
Instead I chose to walk through it, not noticing the man standing a little
way off, watching me closely.

I made it through the wood, no easy task, mind you. It took three
days. Three days of hardship, searching for food, fighting off various
creatures. On the third day my hair had come out of its' tight braid and my
blue gown was almost black with blood and dirt. I was wary, and very, very
tired of walking. At last the darkness around me broke and I found myself
standing in a large clearing. I fell into the grass, pleased, but my
pleasure was cut short. The man that had been following me stepped out of
the woods just then. He looked just as dirty as me, but something was
different about him...his eyes...they were like fire and steel at the same
time. I would have stared at him longer, but he moved, almost too fast for
me to keep track of, and charged me, intent on cutting me down. I didnt
think, I simply reacted. I called the winds up around me, and flung him a
little way away from me. I had meant to kill him, to end his life, but he
was stronger than I thought he would be. He shook off the blow and to my
suprise...smiled. He took a step toward me, red armor glinting in the sun
light.

"Well done, I am Saylemk. I have been watching you and..." he stopped
to wipe the blood one of my wind blades had caused from his cheek "...I am
pleased."

He stood, talking to me a moment longer, spinning a tale of greatness
to my ears. I listened to his proposal, obsorbing what he had to tell me. I
nodded once he was finished and took his hand, whispering a name into the
wind I commanded.

"Akatsuki."

*The letter has one more scribble at the end and on closer inspection you
find that it is a signature, written with one graceful stroke*
