  Vheissu
It was after a long day in the Sire pit, practicing my skills in combat and healing, that I saw this man. Lancin, he called himself. This was the man I sought, the one from my dreams! I eyed him wearily, his seemingly lazy eyes had not yet met my gaze. I hid myself as best I could, darting behind trees and stalking shadows. Although it seemed as if he knew I was following him, he made no attempt to acknowledge me. As I follow him down his path, I recall the dream that I keep having, and that he keeps appearing in.
In my dreams, I see this man, Lancin. He is enveloped in a cloud of dust, wielding a fine blade. His eyes glare a jade color and reflect an apathetic attitude. He speaks my name as if he has known me for ages. "Vheissu." As he speaks he motions for me to follow him, but of course I am hesitant. As I stare motionless at him not wanting to follow, a voice screams. "Addams!" it yells, until I awake in a cold sweat. This dream has happened every night until I turned of age. But it was not until recently that I realized ... this was the very reoccurring dream I had as a child. Every night the dream seems more and more real, the voices get louder and louder.

As I came out of my daze-like flashback, I realized that I had stalked Lancin to the Eastern gates of Buya. He looked as if he had no care in the world, just as his apathetic eyes had portrayed. He moved into the islets and found a small shack. I decided it best not to enter quite yet, and positioned myself near some trees, waiting until I felt safe. After a good half hour or so, I quietly walked inside. "Vheissu, I see you've found me." "Found me?" I replied. "It seems more like you found me and led me here." Lancin smiled lightly. "You're a bright one. But I would expect nothing less from a ..." His voice trailed off. "A what?!" I asked with great impatience. What did this man know about me that I did not? "An Addams." He replied simply. "You are a descendant of the greatly respected and prestigious Addams Ancestry." I was in awe. I heard stories of the Addams Family. I heard the myths of the great fighters that fought off the ancient dragons and kept them confined to this day. My thoughts were then interrupted, as Lancin continued talking.

"I am sure the stories and so called 'myths' about our lineage are already flowing through your head. I assure you, Vheissu, there are no myths. There are no tall tales. There are no rumors. Our family is ancient and powerful. Every amazing tale you have heard of OUR family is true. And you, Vheissu, are a direct descendant. You are my brother." My eyes widened. Not only was I a member of this great family ... I was the brother of the elder. I would, someday, become the leader of the Addams Family. As I spoke, Lancin pulled out a blade. I recognized it instantly. It was Zar'roc, the great blade that is said to have been used by the original Addams Head to strike down the Dragon Leader. It was then comfirmed in my mind. Lancin was the new head of the Addams Ancestry, and I was a direct descendant and future head.

"Come, my brother." Lancin said. "It is time for us
To forge our names in the history of the Addams."
