Upon a night where the sky would not close, the moon would not rise a man approached me. "Let us get out of this rain". We entered a small hut outside of the Bear hall in Kugnae. He lit the fireplace with a flick of his knife and told me to have a seat at the table. His smile was crooked but I could tell he was carrying good news. He moved his cloak away from his face to reveal a young, but seemingly wise face. He places a candle on the table and slides a scroll across the table. "It is time for you to learn where you come from. I know you have searched before, and that is why I am here. "I you have found your own path and joined the Monks of Kugnae. I know your intuition is your biggest guide, and you have followed it since you were a child." I blinked and the scroll he placed before me unrolled. I began reading before I knew what was infront of me. A tattered paper with faded but legible ink apparently showed a picture and text all about the sheet of information that I never never seen the likes of before. The scroll depicted a battle from beginning, in full swing and the horrible aftermath. In bold letters across the top it said "Blessings and the Monks who empowered them". The long flowing ink detailed groups of people fighting off Dragons, beasts and death minions. The group of Monks were blessing the humans in effort to help them win the battle. Lancin picks up a cup and sips from it, slowly lowers it and pauses. Placing the cup on the table he adds "This is the battle where the Addams family defeated the Dragon Lord. The battle was long and drawn out. In time the Dragon Lord was defeated. The Monks you see here aided us in battle against the dragons and their unhonorable Lord. To this day we still stand strong about protecting the kingdoms, for we know the dragons will one day return, Viscous and vengeful beasts they are. I would like you to join our family." He finished sipping his cup and placed it upside down on the table. "I would be honored to be part of your family" I said. "Where can we begin?" Lancin pushes the cup off the table and before it hits the ground the fire disappears as do they.
