Once you are cursed with the negative energy of the universe, there are a few things that you are able to do that do not include being cursed out by shop owners, and innkeepers.

First, I suggest having your karma assessed by a Monk, Diviner, or Geomancer. If your karma has not sunk so low as snake, but a rat, it is still negative, but less severe spiritual ailment. Sacrificing one or two Gold acorns or a totem key to your totem animal may be just enough to tip the scale to the positive range.

If your assessment is that of a Snake, you can try the above, but it will take much longer with this curse. Your best options are to mentor peasants to regain favor with the gods, or to be forgiven by a Monk guide.

Once you contact a Monk guide with a short story or essay of what you have done, and what you have learned from your experience of how you lost favor with the gods, and your experience of what it was like to be cursed.

If you were a member of a subpath, you must contact your former elder and inform him or her that you have been indebted to the universe from severing the ties from your former path towards a new destiny. Once I receive a conformation letter, you may continue with your quest.
