  The Ways of the Monk

                                                  Our Ways

-A monk.. SHOULD be knowledgeable of himself and his surroundings, he should know where things are, and how to get to them.

-A Monk, though a wanderer, is still honorable. A monk should never lie to those he meets.. he should be honest and straight forward. If he has a problem with someone, he will confront that person, as opposed to telling lies and spreading rumors about them, or trying to ruin them. Monks should not lie. Monks should not gossip about others. Monks should not criticize others unjustly

-Because we as Monks travel these harsh lands, we have had our fair share of dealings with both animals of the wilderness, as well as the mysterious demons that roam these lands. Because of this, we are trained fighters, gifted in the martial arts..we no NOT however, fight simply for the sake of fighting. When a monk fights, he has a purpose. Whether it be to train and get stronger, defend new found friends, or simply to see how far he has come with his training.

-A Monk should be positive! It's not easy walking these lands with no true place to call home. If we only saw the BAD sides of things .. we would never have made it this far! A monk should have a positive outlook, a pleasant disposition, and be willing to help someone should the need arise .. If a monk . . . after deep thought, truly decides something is evil.  He will seek to rid the land of it if he knows he is able.

-A monk should be a master of himself and know his abilities. He knows what he can and cannot do. A monk knows when is the right time to fight, the right time to speak, the right time to attack, and the right time to defend.

-A monk knows what is his, and what is not. He will not steal from others, for this is one of the most dishonorable things one can do.
