As the sun sets I watch the red glow and memories overflow me. The past no longer seems far away, and the heroes of old rise in all their glory before me. I remember the stories told to me by Bravesoul and Denae about our ancestors. About their struggle to survive in this world and about the forming of the Xue family.
I remember my own adventures. Death has followed me in my footsteps, yet it never caught up to me. My family has watched over me, just as I watch over them. Our unity is what makes us strong. We are dedicated to protecting each other and even Death has stepped away before our strength.
My closest friend in the world is my brother, RingmasterJ. With him I've been all over the kingdom. We have fought the pirates and the demons of Vortex. We have drank much rice wine in Spring's tavern, and passed many a herb pipe between us on our trips through wilderness.
Words cannot express how excited I am that Xue bloodline is finally coming together. It is a great day indeed, and it will be celebrated by our ancestors for millenia to come. So, let's raise our glasses high, and drink to peace and prosperity for our kingdom, long life to king Yuri, and unity to Xue family.
