(^/^/^) The Life of
@*@*@/ Lord Muckish Xing-Nomad'Or
{_____}

I was born in the springtime of King Yuri's eighteenth year of reign. I cannot say I remember my birth parents, but from what I have been able to uncover I suspect that they were killed fighting the Upir tribe in the early days of the King's reign. Some of my earliest memories are of growing up amongst the streets of Kugnae, spending much of my time bartering goods between gatherers and tradesmen. An early turning point in my life was my adoption by Lady Leodaris Xiang. Leodaris was also a mage who lived in the centre of Kugnae at the time, and also had no remaining family. She took me into her home and taught me the way of the mage, how to understand the powers of the earth and how to become a productive and lawful citizen of Koguryo.

I soon decided to join the SunMoon Sect under the leadership of Primogen Genji in Y19 not long before the disastrous event known as the Shattering. As a young member of the Kingdom, I was greatly interested in returning the generosity that Leodaris had showed me so I joined the Peasant's Help Center of Kugnae, which was run by STM at the time. However, it closed its doors with the onset of the Great Shift not long after I joined. It was around this period that Leodaris married Augman. Augman was a rather powerful poet who taught me much about gaining strength, he was very different than Leodaris in that he spent his days hunting, whereas my mother would rather study and write poetry. With their union, my mother and I moved into Augman's home on the eastern side of the city and Leodaris began spending her time around the great crab-apple tree at Kugnae's eastern gate. It was at this time that the family name was changed to Xing, becoming a manifestation of our family's core values. Also, not long following my mother's marriage, Prince Mhul entitled the great crab-apple tree at Koguryo's East Gate, the 'Tree of Reflections' titled after a poem my mother wrote.

Soon my clan life began to become the forefront of my life, as Primogen Genji along with SunMoon's Head Priestess AngelEyes offered me a position on the Clan's Scribe Council. A few months following, I married another clansmen, Lady Haiko who had long stole my heart. We were married at the Great Tree during the winter of Yuri 29 accompanied by our friends, family and clan.

With Haiko's encouragement I applied for a position at the Koguryo Newspaper, following the closure of the Clan's Scribe Council. The Koguryo News Editor Belledandi, hired me and appointed me Reporter of Current Events. During this time I had the opportunity to interview many well-known members of the community, such as Prince M'hul, Princess Lasahn, General Blight, Archon Mordechai, many Elders, Ministers and Primogens. I was also asked to judge the inter-clan Elixir league and was requested by Blight to be an unbiased observer in his arena when the Clans at the time sent their champions to fight him. I loved being a reporter and I will never forget it but it was very, very time consuming.

After the creation of a new system of admittance in the SunMoon clan, I worked alongside Babilxi under the leadership of Kin Dept Head Khaos. Khaos' was a wonderful leader and we got along very well from the onset of my employment, little did I know a long-lasting friendship was being forged. About eight Yuri's after her promotion, Koguryo Editor Belledandi retired from the Newspaper after a career of fantastic leadership and setting a wonderful example of how the news should be published in future. Before her retirement she promoted Publisher Kan to Editor and he in turn promoted me to News Publisher. This job involved more coordination and organization of the staff, rather than my real love of writing but it allowed me to put into motion many ideas I had to better the paper. During Y33 I was welcomed into the Geomancer family after much study. I am very proud of the hard work it took to join the guild as I had long wanted to become a member of the Geomancer family ever since my mother Leodaris had been accepted. My News Editor, Kan, soon took an extended leave, which turned into his resignation. This resignation again turned into a promotion for me, becoming the third Editor of the Koguryo News. For which I cannot thank my staff enough; they were so dedicated that I could not have nearly accomplished what we did without them. Along with this promotion, I was welcomed into the Royal Koguryian Ministry of Culture under Minister Anjos. Anjos had a sincere love of Koguryo and of its culture, which led to my further interest in Koguryian Politics and Culture. Primogen Genji stepped down the following year, after serving as the longest term as a Primogen to date. In the least he was a very successful and invigorating leader that made a long lasting impact on the SunMoon Clan. Genji's retirement meant a promotion for Councilor Khaos to Primogeness. This left her current department without a department head, so I applied and was soon granted the position of Clan Councilor heading the Kin Dept. After my eighth Yuri with the Koguryo Newspaper and increasing strain from my Clan position, I retired as editor stepping down to my very capable Publisher, Kiyana.. I found this period of my life exceptionally hard, as I left the newspaper, which I loved but found too time consuming especially due to increasing responsibilities in my clan position. Furthermore, the changing direction of my beloved family of Geomancers, due to Elder Sungoddess' new decisions and choices, diverted the family into a path that I disagreed with, thus causing my resignation from the guild the following year. However, the worst of these was by far the death of my wife, Lady Haiko Xing. Haiko had given me the greatest happiness a man could as for, and above all she had given me two sons, Cheetor and Ireland.

Yet, as the new Yuri (Y44) reigned in, happiness returned to me as Primogeness Khaos asked me to become her second, becoming the Primarch of SunMoon. I was deeply honoured and enjoyed the position and responsibilities like none before it. Also, with this position I gained a non-voting seat on the Royal Koguryian Tribunal, to which only furthered my interest in Koguryian politics. This was coupled with Minister Weltal's request that I join him in the Royal Peace Ministry of Koguryo. I gladly accepted the request and found myself as his head Councilor not a full year later.

Also, through a little bit of convincing Minister Anjos had me training to join the Diviner Guild, of which I did in Y47. This achievement was only to be followed by Minister Weltal's increasing travels outside the Kingdom, which led to my appointment as 'Acting' Royal Peace Minister by act of Prince-Regent M'hul. The following year, the Prince made it official and I became his First Minister of Peace in Y48. I enjoyed this position immensely; I was finally in a position where I could make a lasting difference on Koguryo and its people. I took this station and the abilities that came with it and molded them into several ambitious goals and aims. Unlike the Ministers who had gone before me, I believed that the ministry needed to be publicized; it needed to be known to do its work. Instead of working entirely behind the Palace's closed doors with spies and scholars, the Ministry also needed to interact with the people of Koguryo and further intertwine itself in the very fabric of our Kingdom. Much of the Ministry's early accomplishments under my leadership were meager and customary, we settled conflicts with Barbarian invaders, we declared war against Nagnang with our Buyan allies, we attempted to uncover the truth about the Wind gods attacks and we dealt with Sohni threats to invade Buya. Yet, it was not until Y49, as Minister Anjos was increasingly called away from Royal duties to attend elsewhere, that I finally had the opportunity to put my reforms in motion. That year, Prince M'hul placed the Royal Culture Ministry under my direction until Minister Anjos was able to return or a new Minister was appointed. Immediately we began planning King Yuri's Golden Jubilee, for Yuri 50, and by the end of that triumphant year the Prince claimed the celebrations a huge success. It took place throughout the duration of Yuri 50, we had wind toys distributed throughout the Kingdoms, over 15 days of events (often with an attendance over 100 persons), the King participated in much of the celebrations and we were given 7 seven-leafs to distribute from the King as prizes, the first seven-leafs seen since the Shattering! Also, with this success we were given the go ahead on palace construction plans, to which we spent seven years building the Royal Coliseum. The King also decided to follow these achievements by granting the ministries a brand mark, private offices and boards. For me, my time leading the Royal Peace Ministry was one of the greatest successes of my life, it is one of those few moments in life where you are given an opportunity and feel you have driven it as hard as possible to reach your goals. Of course one can never accomplish everything they wish to, but I am still grateful for the opportunity. Upon the eve of Yuri 60, I resigned my post as Royal Peace Minister of Koguryo and all other government positions I held. To this, I was honoured by Prince Mhul who dubbed me with 'Royal Nobility', forever to be styled as Lord Muckish, a nobleman of Koguryo.

May the gods continue to bless the Xing-Nomad'Or family,
Onward, Azure Koguryo!
