At last I have found myself. I was born in Hausson. My mother was part of the Galea family of fisherman. They aren't wealthy but long standing citizens of the town. My mother was also a Geomancer. After meeting my father, Disturb, a navy man of some importance, near the eastern shore of the island, she fell in love and devoted herself to him. Unfortunately, he never offered her marriage even after I was born. My mother didn't mind. She adored my father. One day we received word that he was killed at sea. I was no more than 8 years old. The village and the Galea family decided not to put up with their 'disgrace' any longer and banished us both. We came to the outskirts of Kugnae and lived there for many years in a small cottage. My mother taught me the Geomancer ways until the day she died. I was lost. I rarely went to the town except for necessities. During that time, I met some people from Oceana clan that were helpful to me. I decided to make my home there. The clan and their Navy called to me as part of my heritage. I thought of my father in those halls with the smell of the ocean breeze wafting through them. The Primogen at the time was Vini who overwhelmed me at most times with his presence. I was very shy and feared talking to him. I soon met my cousin, Gilley. She is the daughter of my mother's sister, who died at Gilley's birth. She too was brought up by her only living parent but she had found her home in Destiny clan. I decided to join her there since we were family. Leaving Oceana was hard. I missed the lingering thoughts of my father but the members of Destiny made me feel right at home. They are so caring. I've lived with them for almost 16 Yuris. During that time, I got to know Vini better through Gilley's friendship with him. I also met many SunMoon clan members including Muckish, who I developed a strange bond with. Discussing my history with Muckish, I learned that Vini had a brother who had died at sea. He had been a ship's captain. I thought this very coincidental so looked into it further. It seems that my father was Vini's son! They knew nothing of me or my mother. I had some items my mother had kept and a small likeness of my father someone had painted. I showed them to Vini. Tears welled up in his eyes and he hugged me to him for his son disappeared without a trace. I explained this all to Gilley so she would understand why I would be leaving Destiny. I joined SunMoon clan with my cousin Muckish. I want to learn more about our family. What makes this even more interesting is the fact that Vini's wife, Leodaris, was also my mentor in Geomancy after my mother died.
