My whole life has been .. well, it's had its ups and downs.  Not too many people are as blessed and yet at the same time, cursed, as I know I am.  Born in the southern part of Buya, Naju to be exact.. My father an Ex-KSG agent, my mother a Ranger, I guess my path was already chosen for me.  At an early age my parents would try to embed certain things into my mind. Trying to make me the best Rogue I could possibly be.  My father would train me in physical combat aswell as sublety, he'd tell me of his experiences and certain things to watchout for..  To me my father always seemed paranoid and feirce, yet humble and caring.  While on the other hand my mother would often take me to the wilderness and teach me all sorts of things on survival; trapping, archery, forgary, ect.  I will admit, in my early teens I thought all this training was just a plan to get rid of me when I was old enough to take care of myself.

Several yuri's later, my progression and insight had been noticably improved. The training from my parents had slowed down, but my own self improvement had rapidly increased and took up most of my time.  Day and night I would constantly test my limits trying to see my full potential. Trying not to really break any laws, I would often see if I could steal some coins from a random persons pocket and put it back, all within the same day, all without them noticing.  Don't want to brag or anything, but if I had to steal, I could make a living from it.. but I feel im destined for a bit more than to be your average thief. During my time I learned potential is the mastery of practice, and you just get better and better.

Not too long after my 18th birthday, I found myself wanting more out of life. So I decided to travel to the kingdom of Koguryo. As I was walking around the town, the whole time my eyes were glimmering with new hopes and expectations.  Not only was it a beautiful place, but the people.. they weren't like anyone from Buya. They were more talkative and interesting! Hearing stories of Strange Things and the Koguryo Spy Guild, I just became facinated.  I decided to head back home and tell my parents of my journey and see if they had anything to say before I began my new life.

Heading north back to Buya after a while I noticed smoke off in the distance.  As I grew closer to my village I realized it was my village that was causing the smoke.  I scowered the village looking for any signs of life but all I found were ashes and burnt corpses.  My house, or what was left of it, was completely destroyed. The bones of my mother and father were huddled together under the debris.  It seems, the burning of my village was no mistake, all of the buildings were blockaded from the outside, with the townfolk trapped inside as they burned.  As I went to the well to get some water and collect my thoughts, I heard a voice whisper from within the well.  Looking down, I saw it was a small boy who managed to escape the slaughter.

The boy was badly bruised, claimed he had jumped into the well when he heard screaming and yelling from what to him sounded like bandits. I asked if he could describe the bandits, what they were wearing, what they said..  He didn't hear much from the echoing within the Well.. but he did say they were wearing tattered black leather clothes and had red sashes..  The same attire of known bandits from the north west of my village.  I took the boy to a nearby town and gave him some gold and told the towns people what had happened to my village and to be aware.

I then went back to the village in search of any clues as to where they were going, if they had taken anyone, or anything of the sort.  I noticed near the brush to the north there were some broken twigs and what seemed to be a path of footsteps made by a bunch of men.  It appeared to be the only way they had came and went from.  The path leading to the north west...  Now knowing where they were headed I gathered some equipment for the journey in search of the bandits who slaughtered nearly all of everyone i've known.  I burried my parents bones along with others in seperate marked graves in a nearby cemetary.

Into the forest I went, following their trail of ripped clothes, hair, and footsteps..  Using the skills my parents had taught me so very well.  Staying right in their tracks for days, I finally had some evidence I was drawning nearer to them. It was almost midnight, I saw a light in the distance and heard loud chatter, it seemed they were having a bit of a party around a camp fire.  Making my way closer to get a better look at what was going on, I saw the bandits, with their black leather clothes and red sashes. This was the moment to test myself, to see if my parents died in vein, to see if I was destined for anything  more, or simply a life of anguish and disappointment.

Setting various traps in strategic places surrounding the whole area, making sure nobody was going to be getting away. I showed the bandits the same mercy that my village was shown... absolutely none at all.  I'm not going to describe what exactly happened to the bandits, but needless to say; They won't be burning anymore villages any time soon.

I headed back to the village in which I left the young boy.  When I arrived, I found the boy in the care of a religious family, they had accepted to take him in as their own.  I gave the boy some words of wisdom and assurance that the bandits will never be back again.  He looked at me in disbelief, so I gave him a small token to put his mind at ease..  a dagger with a red sash around it.  Gave the boy a pat on the head and left, in search of a new home, a new life, but all seemingly to be for the same purpose I have always had..  To show my talents and simply be.

Not too long after everything had settled down, I sought out a new place to call home, away from the memories.  It wasnt long before I came across the Lost Kingdom, applied, and got accepted.  There, I met so many wonderful people and almost every other day I would have a new kindred to say hello to and get to know.  It was just the change of pace I needed.

It was there that I met Magura.  He was one of the many people I told of my past struggles and the first to lend a hand.  Even without asking he took me under his wing, showed me around the halls of the Lost Kingdom, introduced me to some people.  I guess in his mind he had already thought of me as a son right then and there.

A few seasons passed, when I was finally made aware of Magura's plans to adopt me.  The decision was made not too long after his fiance Shiver had joined the Lost Kingdom and they were wed shortly later..  They both decided they wanted a family and knew in their hearts that they should adopt.  They let me know that we were destined to become more than friends, more than kindred in a clan, but an actual family instead, which bond surpasses those of many by great distance.

I can't thank Magura enough for his hospitality and help with everything, and the care I feel from him throughout my daily life leads me to believe that he has what it takes to become a father.  I can't wait for the paperwork to be filled so I can become an official member of Magura and Shiver's family.  Their love and their insight I will cherish and never take for granted.
