  GDawg
GDawg is the name, and just recently, my true family name became known to me. Throughout my young life, I had the absence of a strong family unit. My family was never my own, and I was mostly alone, wandering in search of some purpose. I have no memory of my real parents, just my older Brother. Erucolindo was his name, and he was just a young child when I was taken. I remember the night clearly, I was asleep in my bed, when I awoke to find that my window was ajar. Being young and naive, I did not know about the thieves that were present in Paekjae, and approached the window. The moonlight was bright and clear, and as I looked out into the night, I heard a creak in the floor behind me, I quickly turned around but a hand muffled my cries, and a cloth was placed over my eyes. I was less than a Yuri old, and I awoke to find myself in an alley in some strange city. I later found out that the city was Buya, from a passerby. I did not know what became of my parents, but now I know they left Paekjae to come to Buya soon after I was taken, but my parents did not survive the journey. I was wondering why I was taken, and then just left to die on the streets of Buya, and I realized they must have thought I was a different child in Paekjae. Either way, I was lost, confused and starving in the streets, without shelter or food. I lay down on the side of the path, starving and exhausted, when a scroll of parchment rolled up and under my resting arm. I opened it and saw the symbol of the Buyan Imperial Army. I quickly filled out the application and waited for a response. As I waited, many of the citizens gave me food and shelter. Week after week went by, begging in the streets and living in the homes of generous citizens, and just as I began to feel like the Army would never accept me, I was summoned into the barracks by the Medic Captain, Amberle. She showed me my dormitory, and from then on, I lived inside the army. I was too weak to become a soldier for some time, but the Army sustained me, and kept me alive. When I was finally strong enough to become an active member, I was accepted willingly into the ranks.

As time went by, I began to think of my true family, wondering if my parents and brothers were still alive and well. When I joined the Intelligence division, I had a strong need for information on my past. Without anybody else to turn to, I approached the commander of the Intel division to help me try to decipher my past. Erucolindo Solinarus was his name, a name which brought back floods of memory for me. I did not know why his name was so familiar at the time, so I turned to the Monks, and looked into his past. He was born in Paekjae, but left when he was young, for undisclosed reasons, headed for Buya. His parents had died along the dangerous journey, but when he arrived, the army had taken him and his family in, just as it did for me. When I asked the monks if there was anymore information on the family history, they said "Well, the parents of the Solinarus family did have another child. He was taken at such a young age, that only very close friends and family knew about him. He was taken by a group of thieves, mistaken for another child of the town, and then left here, in the city of Buya." I then knew why the name was so familiar. Just as I turned to leave, Erucolindo and his wife Kirikka walked into the hall.

Ever since that day, I have found happiness in my family, under the name of Solinarus. I have a wife, Flower, and am a Lt in the Intel division. Words cannot describe the bond between my family and I, but the values of Loyalty, Service and compassion are deep within us all.
I always have been, and always will be, GDawg Solinarus.
