In the beginning, our family where nomadic hunters whos roots can be traced back to the Paektusan region. Once settling near the peak of this holy place, The great lake provided an ample amount of nourishment. The Mountin also provided a sturdy defense against the Warmongering tribes of Manchuria. So we gave up our hunting ways and started fishing and foraging. And also took up more scholarly activities.

  No one, seems to be sure if Paektu was given to the Mountain due to our family or if our Family adopted the name of this Mountain.

  We thrived in peace in this place of virtuous solitude. But solitude can only sustain one such as myself for so long. With my parents passing, I ventured south to this land I now call my own, upon living here for many a Yuri. I found a group of people (Sun Moon Sect.) who had came together with goals common to mine. Once here I had many great adventures and tales i shall not go into now.

  Once down here in the South, I guess the warm weather warmed my heart, as did this special lady i met. Known as the great Monk Maya, a guide to her path, a fair and honest judge, and council to my clan. It was not love at first site, but feelings and friend ship developed over time. And finally wedding bells were in the air. And the Pektu family name flourished once again.

  The Family flourishes due to our values we hold so closely to our hearts. Our Values are directly related to the Great Mountain Paektu that our lineage comes from; Sturdiness, the ability to with stand years of adversity and environment as the Mountain; Purity, As pure and holy the water that the peak contains; and Interdepence, We depend on each other because one cannot stand alone, as on the mountain you have only those around you to help you survive.

  My personal Experiences with my Family are memorable and bring joy to my heart. My love for 'My Maya' was forged through interdepence and through fierce combat. Together we fought for Hanxin against the vile bluestone. achieving many of our goals together, mainly attaining our third marks together. Soon after we had our first child AerynSun who decided to follow in her mothers footsteps and walks the path of the Monk. And our recently adoptive son Vansith. He holds our family values close as he is striving to walk the path of the Chongunate.

  Along with Vansith comes his fiance SandPaper, a humble mage riddled with sparatic behavior and a attractive personality that draws all close to her. Along with their children Kimdonna, Traci, TheFollower, and Glife.

  When you marry a woman, you also take on her family. The elegantly powerful BotanChan Sister to Maya, and her husband Bread. Bread and I are connected by sister but we are not friendly with each other due to arguments and turmoil. No family can get along together all the time.

  Cousins to me Vernon, are Angelos and Revery, Angelos my Mothers Sister, My aunt, We share a special bond as during birth Both my Mother and his Mother passed during child birth, leaving us the only ones to carry on our respected line. And as for Revery he is from a land a lil further away but still blood all the same.

  Our Family, well rounded and diverse. And is growing everyday. We are of humble origins.
