Kalina grew up in a city far away from Buya. After going out on her usual
hunting trip she came home to find her parents missing. After a few months she
packed up and left for Buya.
The journey took two weeks, she arrived famished and her spirit was broken. A
man named Zylden took her in. In time she grew to love Zylden and they were soon
engaged.
Zylden became abusive and controlling. A man named Dansom befriended Kalina
and showed her was true happiness was. Dansom helped her to escape from Zylden's
clutches and they were married soon after.
Thus joining foreign blood with the Medici line.
