  Matsuura Family
~`' This is a story of my great great grandfather who has  passed a very long time ago and thus, is the beginning  of Matsuura family.

It was Yuri 33, and the place was Nagnang. After long and  exhaustive courtship, I, a Buyan army member stationed in Nagnang, was finally allowed to marry my Japanese fiance, Sayuri.

Time passed by and we were leading a very happy life together. We were blessed by the God and Goddes as short afterwards, Sayuri was pregnant. We were all very happy with the news and  planned to name the child Matsuura, Kazuhito.

~Unfortunately, short after the pregnancy, a huge war exploded.

There had been violence in Nagnang on a regular basis. The city's civilians were left to watch the carnage and devastation from the hillsides, all time hoping that their loved ones going in the front line would return home safely. So many relatives and neighbors had been lost in the war, never to be heard from again.

A few Yuris later, there was a warning to the citizens to flee the city for safety elsewhere, as they were about to be attacked. Hundreds of Nagnang citizens began to leave the city for safe refugee elsewhere.

My beloved wife, however, faced with a dilemma. Her pregnancy with Kazuhito had been a very difficult one, complicated by the lack of healthy provisions and medical care in those most trying times. She was unable to travel at this time, being partly incapacitated by her weakened physical condition, and the fact that she was already near term with her baby.

As our family witnessed hundreds of friends and relatives leave the city for refuge elsewhere, we made up our minds to remain in Nagnang, and trust in the God and Goddess to reveal our fates in the days ahead. Some relatives along with close friends and neighbors had remained behind as well.

The warning did not mention any specific city as the next target for their attack, so there was no way of knowing where to go for refuge. The fact that my wife was unable to travel had kept us, our family and many of our closest friends in Nagnang, which was NOT the next target of this most terrible attack.

In Yuri 46, Sayuri gave birth to a healthy baby boy, whose future adventures through other countries and cultures could hardly have been imagined at that time. And this miracle baby boy is my great great grandfather and is the start of my beloved family.

~`'We, members of the Matsuura family, are all very proud to have such a wonderful family history. Through family history we discover the most beautiful tree in the forest of creation -
our family tree. It is the expansive expression of eternal love. It is born of selflessness and such beautiful history reminds us of loved ones now gone. And thus, we promise that we will love each other and stick together...always...
