As you might not know, my name is Guitar. This name was given to me by my father due to his love of music and the arts. My father, Acoustic, named after a musical term also, was from the land of Han. He was a royal jester to Minister Ja'abe. It was said he married at the age of twenty-seven to an unknown woman. She had died one year after the marriage to my father during childbirth. I have no memories of her what so ever. I grew up in Han with my father on a small farm until the people of Han decided it was time to help other kingdoms with discovering the winds. My father and I slept night after night in the wilderness, while trying to find a kingdom that would accept us. We found ourselves in the Buyan territory for about a season and a half when we found that we could not live on there. After another short expedition in the wilderness, we came upon the nation of Nagnang. Stunned in its glory and history of the land, we knew this would be our new home. My father quickly purchased a home nearby.
While he made money playing ancient melodies to travelers, I grew bored and depressed. I knew that there was something in this land for me, so I would set out to find it. Later that day, a man approached me with information saying that my father had been crushed in a building collapse. I had no idea what I was to do, I had no family left. I wandered around a lot looking for attention when I heard there was a extremely powerful man looking for me. He had been traveling from lands far away after getting word that his distant brother had been orphaned. When I saw him, he approached me as if he had known me all of his life. He was my brother Gberts. Gberts told me that I was his oldest brother and not from my fathers side. My mother had been married to another man before that I was never told of. Gberts invited me into his home where I met the rest of the family.
I lived with him for a month or two until I could get on my feet. I purchased a house nearby so I would be close to my new relatives. It was the family I always hoped for. I worked and did many things with everyone. I fit in like a tight glove. Everyone seemed to like me and we spent the next couple yuris really getting to know each other. The family started to really glow with everyone in it. There was a mutual respect for everyone. I let them know my past but they already seemed to know it as if I was the only one out of the loop. They explained to me everything I had missed and how they would make it up to me. I was extremely pleased and all together blessed.
