Nheng (Nhong) Kousei

Nheng (or Nhong), a childhood friend of the eldest brother Juangary, was also brought up in the village of Kigai.  Though the enemy confirmed that the entire village was burned, Nheng was able to escape by an ability he taught and mastered himself.

Ever since Nheng was a young boy, he took interest in both the Poet and Warrior path.  He enjoyed the practices of both paths, and therefore later revealed his true skill.  Unlike others who devoted themselves to one path, Nheng devoted himself to two.  Though many did not think he could handle the dedication of studying both paths, it was his brother-friend Juangary who motivated him to work his hardest.

Nheng grew into a man of two faces -- fierce and barbaric as a warrior, yet gentle and inspiring as a poet.  Perhaps what built Nheng’s strength was his hours of labor in the forest as he’d cut down trees for firewood for his family.  As a family member of Kousei, he is known as the one who could easily make the most humorous jokes.  His choice of words to describe an event are blunt and honest, yet never insulting, a trait that the entire family adores.
