It's been a long road so far and I'm still so young...   My brother, Ordos, and I came a long way to finally rest our feet here in the beautiful city of Kugnae. We were both born a short ways to the south in the nation of Nagnang. We descend from a noble line and with that, there's the constant expectation you are going to be great. Perhaps to relieve some of the pressures of that atmosphere is why most of us Endsong children decide to move away from Nagnang together.

The road wasn't an easy one. We unfortunately got lost on our way to Koguryo and ended up in the mountainous region of the Sonhi encampment. Beyond those mountains though there is a desert we used to call home. That desert is as all deserts are... a wasteland. An unforgiving, brutal environment where everything is set against you, trying to break you down.

But the desert isn't just that, it's a parent, in a way and perhaps that's what we Endsong children left Nagnang to find.  As our's were taken from us at such a young age by our evil uncle, it isn't unreasonable to believe that perhaps that's what we went searching for.

The thing about the desert was... well, the desert doesn't have impassable obstacles. The desert wants to see you strong. It wants you to make it. Despite first appearances, the desert will provide you with shelter, nourishment, water... everything you need. You just have to know how to look for it. All of the children of the desert, the little Sonhis, are taught from very early on that nothing in life will be given to you. You'll have to work for it.

That's where I find myself today. I see what my brothers and sisters have accomplished and I'm astounded. I'm in awe of Harkonnen perhaps the most, though I could never tell him. He'd disown me in the blink of an eye for sounding weak like that. But from my admiration comes aspiration. I want to grow up to be stronger than even him one day. To be able to protect that which I hold dear. To be able to stand up to any adversary and be able to match it.

And that's what draws me to the Do. I admire everything they are, everything they stand for. They are fiercely loyal to each other, to the code they protect and to their families. They're honorable and courageous. They're everything I could see myself being.

I want you all to know that I'm ready to begin learning and I'm not going to stop once I've begun. I want to learn the ways of the Do and hope one day to call them my brothers.
