Many yuri ago, the kingdoms were shattered by a great shift. A pestilence crept up and took the lands by storm. Sagu, corrupted by the Darkstaff and his own grief rained terror upon the kingdoms. In the wake of that terror, many families, clans and adventurers took to the wild to escape the terror. Some families stayed close by and returned after the damage was done... others vanished completely.
My family was one of these families. A mother and father disappeared from the kingdoms leaving behind them their earthly posessions taking with them only their kin. A nuclear family unit, mother, father, son, daughter. They were never seen in the kingdoms again.
Many Yuri later a loner stumbles from the wilderness to the south of Buya. That man came to be known as Deluge (a moniker or nickname of sorts). He hadn't much money, but the townsfolk took to him soon enough, enjoying the stories of his adventures and misadventures. He soon earned enough money to open his own shop to the south of Buya, an expensive district. The people of the kingdoms named the shop 'Deluge shop' after one of Deluge's most famous stories.
Deluge forged Bows and sold them to the community in this shop, and would speak to all who would listen about the strength of the bow. He never let on to the townsfolk that he was born in Buya and fled with his family into the wild during the shattering. No one ever even knew his true origin.
This shop became a rallying point for the Deluge family, and rooted us to the kingdom of Buya. This is how the Deluge family came to be.
