  :Chiyoko Family
I Ambigua  am the Eldest of Four Sisters. Journals of our past tell us that our family have lived and thrived in Hausson for many generations. The name Chiyoko simply means "Children of a thousand generations". Our beginning to life was simple and humble. Being the eldest child, I learnt to sew with my Mother. She taught me to cook and provide for our family. We would sheer sheep from the main lands for wool to make garments and blankets. The second daughter of our family. Sophora, was very fond of my Father. She stood with him at the docks every day, watching as he sold wares. We did not have a house of our own, but shared with several other families.   Now and then Sophora and I would walk around the little island of Hausson, taking our younger sisters, Monette and Anishka with us. I have fond memories as an 18 year old girl watching my Sisters play soulfully. Their laughter was ample, and it echoed through the lands. By then I had already been ordained into the Monk circle. Sometimes I missed the girls terribly, especially whilst away from home for many moons at a time.  Around the festival period, I decided to return to Hausson to celebrate with my family and friends. Beautiful smiles always greeted me when I came home.  One morning I woke in the early hours to drumming...Louding drumming, shouting, cries. I could feel the tremors. I looked out the window...it was only just dawn. In the air I smelt gunpowder, cannons. I could hear Monette crying, she was only Five years old. Anishka only just stirred, she was only a small baby. But Sophora, where was she? Where was Father? Mother? Fear ripped through me as I scrambled from my bed. I stood in the door of our hut. I glanced to the docks and knew instantly - It was pirates. I settled Monette, frightened to leave her I kissed her head solemnly and swiftly moved through the debris that was now our town...Fire smouldered over nearly every hut but our own. Crates of goods ripped open. I felt sick. I ran to the docks. The pirates had already boarded their ship and leaving our lands. I searched the waters with my eyes. Bodies of friends and full families lay a float, still. My eyes clocked him. My Father, his blood dissolving in the water around him. I searched for my Mother.. My little sister... My stomach wrenched tight. I knelt on the dock. I was distraught. Suddenly I heard a whimper from a crate beside me. I scrambled to my feet and hastily pulled the lid from the crate. Her solid ice blue eyes shone back at me. Sophora, covered in ash mostly. Relief swept over me as I hoisted her into my arms. For 10 years old she was terribly light. My Father had saved her life by putting her within the crate. My Mother's body was never recovered. We spent some time helping to restore what the invaders had done in damage. Sophora in time learnt to watch and cook for the little ones whilst I helped to mend huts, and sew garments together for those who lost everything. After those few months, and everything had been restored, I decided it was safer with in the City walls. We moved to Koguryo and rented a small house for the four of us. Sophora learnt to hunt and fight skilfully as a warrior. She brought home food. I would cook for us and Sophora soon taught Monette fighting skill too. Monette took her own path though, becoming a swift and agile Rogue. She now walks with Merchants. Anishka is 18 now, and growing fast. I taught her what I knew of magic but she has soon developed own skills with the spirits. She is studying with the Shaman, like our Grandmother did.
