Long has the Brodes family thrived in the kingdoms to the west. A family best know for being great engineers and generals. A family set out to learn and share new ideas and technologies. Yes, long has this family been around, but only until events in the last generation has the story came to a pinnacle. The head of the Brodes family is pasted down to the eldest son of the previous head, that is of Brodes blood. If the current head of the family has no sons, the inheritance moves to the closest male branch up the family tree, whom is of Brodes name and blood relation, and so forth. If no males of name and blood remain, this family would cease to be. The Brodes family, in the past generation, came to a point where there was only one male of Brodes blood and name left. As bringing the Brodes family's next generation was his legacy, he has been named Father Brodes. Father Brodes was a Geomancer, and at a young age he traveled from our origins to the west and searched the lands, in seek of new insights. When he reached Kugnae, instead of knowledge he found love, which many would believe to be of much greater worth. Oddly enough the woman, to be later known as Mother Brodes, was also not a local of Kugnae. Mother Brodes was a Muse that had came to Kugnae with her siblings who decided on finding a new area to live. Mother Brodes was very charismatic, a wonderful Muse, not common for one whom family's background was in farming. Father Brodes, having skill in carpentering combined with his ability with the elements, built a house in north Kangnung. Mother Brodes moved into the new house with Father Brodes and as time pasted their love grew, and they got married. In Yuri 32 Mother Brodes gave birth to the next heir to the head of the Brodes family, David Rummur Brodes. Four Yuri?s later they had another son, Dustin Windu Brodes. The family of four, lived happily for years and years. The boys grew up as most brothers do, squabbled in their younger years, while cooperating in more and more from there teens on. David had the gift of sight, a diviner. A gift that grew with his age. David took on most all of the traits the Brodes family was know for, he was a skilled alchemist, engineer, farmer, and strategist. David was know well for his wisdom, while Dustin was more knowledgeable. Dustin was book smart, a monk who was most devoted to his study of reincarnation and Buddhist beliefs. Time passes and so do people, Father and Mother Brodes depart from this kingdom. In there place David and Dustin are now to bring on the next Brodes family generations. Which will soon come to be, as David has found love in a woman named Meara. A strong burning love that has been a flame since they had first met, and since that time they have gotten married. As for Dustin, he has not been seen in the kingdoms for some time, but left in search for knowledge, more than the books in these kingdoms can provide. As the branches grow, so does the family history. Long has the Brodes family set out to learn and share new ideas and technologies. So as another branch may some day sprout from this tree, the Brodes legacy will spread, for all to know. -Brodes family |
