  THE BEGINNING:
During King Yuri's first years of reign over the lands of Koguryo, the real overseers and rulers of a divided country were clans and noble families.
House Baenre first noble family of Koguryo, has controlled villages and cities nearby for lengths of time. Mals, head of the family gained a unique position of power after a feud between two other houses, it left all but Baenre weakened or destroyed for now...but Danger looms near. Even though the family clans were in control, Mals pledged Baenre's loyalty to King Yuri, for each member of the family knew that to have peaceful times, one ruler must be set instead of many.

THE FAMILY:
House Baenre had many Offspring from 4 blood-bonded married couples. Yet...you did not have to be blood to be part of us. We believe that the spirit is greater than flesh and blood. Many servants were treated as sons and daughters. The code of the family was nobility and wisdom. As strong as brute strenght is, many are stronger. Baenre family believes that with knowledge they can tame any power.

THE CONCLUSION:
Mals, who was head of the family did pledge his allegiance to King Yuri many years ago. Since then King Yuri had an offspring, a son named Mhul. Prince and appointed General of the Koguryan Army. Feuds of rival clans and families still raged on. Mhul decided that it was time for all this to end and bring utmost power to the royal family. Civil war begun under the name of King Yuri to banish all those who seeked to be in power of the mother land. One after another, each clan who did not abide was slain and destroyed. Most of the power houses were gone, Prince Mhul accomplished his goal...yet...in his eyes even if Baenre swore an oath of loyalty, the chances were too great for another Civil War. One rule after another rule were set onto the House of Baenre. Treated like second class citizens, people would spit on Mals's face and show no more respect to Baenre. At the end, even with all loyalty, services, and love that Baenre gave unto the lands surrounding it, they were voluntarily yet mentally forced to become outcast on the skirts of Koguryan and Nangen land. You may still see the ruins and abandoned huts and villages within the Nagnang Woodlands surrounded with Scorpions and Mummies...but...abandoned?...heh...the family survives.
