A young Poet returns home after a long day and finds his cousin, Lancin, sitting in the corner near a stone statue.. As he appraoches closer, he sees that he is balancing a sword on his palms. "Where did that sword come from?" The Poet asked. "This, Vheissu, is the sword of our ancestors. It is very important to our family and has been passed down through countless generations. Let me tell you the story of our ancestry."
"Many many Yuri ago, long before Dragons could be kept in mere caves, the Addams family constantly had fierce battles with them. They protected all of Koguryo, ignoring the fact that their lives were in danger. Our ancestors were amazingly skilled fighters. People came from all over the lands, even Han, to see our family in battle, and often to help them. Alot of people believed that the Addams were blessed by the gods, and they could not die. This sword however holds great importance because it was used to slay the greatest dragon to roam the lands. After many Yuri of holding the dragons back, they stopped attacking for a long while. They returned with a great Dragon leader, and attacked once again. After many days of fighting, the new dragon leader arrived. The tides had shifted, and the Addams were slowly being overcome. The current head of the Addams ran into battle against the dragon leader. When the battle between them started it seems as if time had stopped. All of them stopped fighting and kept their eyes focused upon the great battle between the Addams elder and the dragon leader. After what seemed like centuries, the fight seemed as if it was coming to an end. The Addams elder was not moving as fast, and showing signs of loss of strength. He was knocked back against the edge of a mountain, his weapon flying away from him. The dragon leader approached him to deliver a final blow, as the Addams elder slowly arose. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a flash from behind a rock. He quickly moved it, and behind it he found a blade. He grabbed it at turned around, with a newly found strength. As the dragon was rushing towards him he ambushed him and turned around and struck the dragon in his back. The blade flashed brightly, and cursed the dragon. The dragon turned around angered, yet the elder did not fear. The elder let out a loud 'Ka~~!' and a sphere a dust suddlenly clouded everyones vision. When the dust cleared, the dragon lay on the ground slain. Out of fear, the dragons retreated to the caves, where they remain today. The Addams are still skilled fighters today, and I carry this blade that was passed down from son to son, until today I bear it. It is a sign of loyalty, strength, and skill that our family follows. If the dragons were to ever attack again, our family is ready."
Lancin then stood up and blew the candles out, and he was gone.
